Vinson Shih

Hi everyone! My name is Vinson (he/they) and I am honoured to be this year’s Accessibility Rep.

I am from Vancouver, BC and received my BA from U of T. In my spare time, I am an avid foodie and enjoy running, cooking, and design.

Accessibility is more than having physical barrier-free spaces. It is also about ensuring that there is a learning environment and method of delivery that allows every one of our classmates a chance to thrive. I am cognizant of how the move to online learning will limit access to class content, as well as emotionally and mentally impact our ability to learn. 

I look forward to advocating on your behalf to lower these barriers and make our learning more accessible. In addition to this, my responsibilities include managing the note-sharing program and working with the Front Office advocating on students’ behalf for exam accommodation requests.
