FAQ

  • What is the difference between LSS positions and faculty committee positions and faculty council positions?

LSS positions - attend weekly LSS meetings as the liaison between the LSS and the student body for your particular area (e.g., Sports and Clubs Rep handles all things intramural and clubs-related; 3L Rep brings 3L-related issues forward and plans grad-related events like Grad Banquet and grad photos)

Faculty Committee positions - attend and participate in faculty committee meetings as a student representative and express student concerns for that particular area of the law school (e.g., Admissions Committee Representative, Library Committee Representative)

  • When will the results be posted?

The results are sent to me from the UVic Voting office and are typically sent out within a day of the voting closing. An email with the names of successful candidates will be sent out once I receive the results.

  • What if I have more questions that aren’t answered?
