  • CONSTITUTION

    The LSS Constitution is the founding organizational document, which ratified the LSS under the BC Societies Act. To download, visit: LSS Constitution

  • BYLAWS

    The LSS Bylaws are a set of internal rules guiding the day-to-day business of the organization. The Bylaws can only be amended through a democratic vote by students at our Annual General Meeting. To download, visit: LSS Bylaws

  • MINUTES

    Minutes are kept for every weekly LSS meeting to inform students about the work of the organization.

  • ELECTIONS

    Elections for LSS positions are held twice a year. The general election occurs in the Spring term, while a Fall election is held to elect the 1L Representatives and an unfilled positions.

    Elections are guided by the Constitution and LSS and Election Rules.

  • BUDGET

    The LSS annual Budget is developed over the summer and presented to the Executive for approval in the Fall. A yearly Budget update is provided before February 15, as well as at the Annual General Meeting.

  • COMMITTEES

    The LSS, from time to time, may strike Committees to involve the student body in larger projects. For more information on the following active committees, please contact the following:

  • POLICY MANUAL

    The LSS Policy Manual guides the organzation’s day-to-day operations and decision making.

    Every year, the LSS awards students for their contributions to the Faculty of Law, as voted by their peers.
